"We've got 20 pairs of tickets for Glastonbury to give away. How can we do it in an interesting and 'Glastonbury' way? We're not going to use traditional media to promote it, so it needs to be word-of-mouth-worthy."
Glastonbury is rural and pastoral. There's cows around. Why not let a bull decide who wins. We can GPS technology to monitor his position in the field and wherever he's standing at a certain time of day will decide who the winner is. That sounds pretty interesting. And we can name it with a pun too, which is nice.
People played in large numbers. People talked about the site on blogs and stuff. It even got featured on the television (even if it was some two-bit cable channel).
